HEALING MASS
On the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month, instead of having the Healing Mass, we will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Everyone is invited the Fridays during Lent at 6PM in the Church for the praying of the Stations of the Cross (Bilingual).

SIMPLE SUPPER
Join fellow parishioners after the praying of the Stations of the Cross, for a Simple Supper in the Parish Hall. If you wish to provide soup or bread for these Fridays, please sign up in the sheet provided in the foyer of the Church.

CAN YOU GIVE SOMEONE A RIDE TO MASS?
Lent is a great time to reflect on our lives and make positive changes to become more like Christ. There is a man living in a group home on West Walls Road who would love to have a ride to Mass. He has a wheel chair, but he is able to get out of the wheel chair and into a car without to much help. If you think you might be able to help him with a ride to Mass, please call Dan Dufault at 509-948-7253. Thank you.

LENTEN RECONCILIATION SERVICE
Confessions available with visiting priests Tuesday, April 1st beginning at 7PM.

DRAMA PRODUCTION
The start of Heppner’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration will once again be marked with an original drama production featuring the St. Pat’s Players and directed by Fr. Gerry Condon, the recently retired pastor of St. Patrick’s and St. Williams. The play, which chronicles the life of St. Lawrence O’Toole, will be presented at the Ione Community School on Sunday, March 9th at 3PM and again at St. Patricks’ Parish Hall in Heppner on Thursday, March 13th at 7PM. Admission is free, but donations are accepted and are given to a local charity of the cast’s choosing. For more information, contact Heppner’s Parish Office at 5416769462.

SCHOLERSHIP APPLICATION
The Knights of Columbus Scholarship Applications are available at the Parish Office. The applications are due by March 20th.
If you have questions, please visit or call the office at (541)567-5812.

WHAT IS PURGATORY?
Ever wonder what the Church teaches about Purgatory? As you know the church is made up of three parts, the Church Triumphant, those in heaven, the Church Suffering, those in Purgatory, and the Church Militant, us here on earth. There as been mistaken theology sometimes put forth by some in the Church that this suffering is like the suffering experienced in Hell, only you get to go to heaven when it is over. Some have even put forth demented ideas of physical torture, some have also tried to tie, "time", to Purgatory, "time" only exits here on earth, not in eternity. We have a really good DVD on Purgatory. We are planning on showing it during our Friday night Simple Supper, right after the Stations of the Cross. The showing will be Friday night March 28th at 7:15PM in the Parish hall. I can't think of a better way to spend a Friday evening during Lent. Don't miss it, you will be greatly blessed.
