praying of the Stations of the Cross (Bilingual).
SIMPLE SUPPERJoin fellow parishioners after the praying of the Stations of the Cross, for
a Simple Supper in the Parish Hall. If you wish to provide soup or bread for these
Fridays, please sign up in the sheet provided in the foyer of the Church.
CAN YOU GIVE SOMEONE A RIDE TO MASS?
Lent is a great time to reflect on our lives and make positive changes to become more like
Christ. There is a man living in a group home on West Walls Road who would love to have a
ride to Mass. He has a wheel chair, but he is able to get out of the wheel chair and into
a car without to much help. If you think you might be able to help him with a ride to
Mass, please call Dan Dufault at 509-948-7253. Thank you.

WHAT IS PURGATORY?
Ever wonder what the Church teaches about Purgatory? As you know the church is made up of
three parts, the Church Triumphant, those in heaven, the Church Suffering, those in
Purgatory, and the Church Militant, us here on earth. There as been mistaken theology
sometimes put forth by some in the Church that this suffering is like the suffering
experienced in Hell, only you get to go to heaven when it is over. Some have even put
forth demented ideas of physical torture, some have also tried to tie, "time",
to Purgatory, "time" only exits here on earth, not in eternity. We have a really
good DVD on Purgatory. We are planning on showing it during our Friday night Simple
Supper, right after the Stations of the Cross. The showing will be Friday night March 28th
at 7:15PM in the Parish hall. I can't think of a better way to spend a Friday evening
during Lent. Don't miss it, you will be greatly blessed.
